by Emma123 » Wed Nov 14, 2007 7:36 pm

the 6 radiators that are not working have you tried bleeding them and only cold water is coming through you could try turning the 7 radiators that are working off at the valves which will push more pressure onto the 6 that are not working.

Sounds like an airlock, but first check all radiator valves are open, did you cloase any ?

The easiest and quickest way to try and clear a airlock is to turn off the radiators that are working. Hopefully the pump will push the water through to the other radiators.

Can you provide the make and model of boiler, so that I can try to help more.

Was the system working before you drained it
When you drained the system, did you close the valves at boths end of the radiator or just the thermostatic valve end..
Are the non working radiators all upstairs.
