CENTRAL HEATING

by QUACK01 » Thu Dec 23, 2010 12:02 pm

The pump on our potterton profile boiler does not switch off when the boiler shuts down. I ikknow it's supposed to stay on for a short while but this does not turn off at all. The engineer who came replaced the electronic control saying that the pump overrun stat was on this part. It seems that there is another part for the pump overrun stat. Am I correct in thinking that this is the part that needs to be changed. He says it's to do with wiring but I can't see the logic in this.
Any help would be really appreciated. Many thanks
Susan
