Central Heating

by scheuber8 » Mon Nov 19, 2007 7:20 pm

I have an acient boiler by looks of it, its a worcestor heatslave g40 or g50. No problem with hot water its just the rads upstairs hardly warming up at all. i did take couple of rads off to paint and clean up and obviously drained them but don`t know whether or not this is sealed system. Do i need to top it up and if so how? Any help most appreciated.

probably not a sealed system, make sure both radiator valves are open and bleed the upstairs radiators with the central heating turned off.

try this if you have any more problems, will be glad to help
