Central heating working, no hot water

Post by meggymoo22 » Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:58 pm

Hi
I have a glow-worm fuel saver boiler, my central heating is working but I do not have any hot water. Does anybody have any suggestions, could it be the zone valve not working and how would I know.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

is there a a gate valve or anything on the return pipe from the cylinder? sometimes these are too far shut off, get knocked shut or get a bit of muck in them.

you have separate valves for ch and hw? does the spindle for the hw one move or the valve motor over?
