Have purchased a new kitchen tap to replace the old leaking one. The cold is fed by the mains (I think) so can be shut off at the stop cock? The hot is fed by a megaflow tank upstairs. What’s the best way of approaching this?
Can the isolation valves on the pipes to the sink just be shut off and the tap changed or does the supply need to be properly shut off? Does the megaflow tank need to be drained first?
