changing lamp shade

[size=18] :cry: help - my wife purchased a new glass lamp shade which weighs 2 kgs - does anybody know if this can be fitted to a ceiling rose without any extras having to be added to take the strain of the weight - any help would be appreciated.

You can hang up to 5kg on a flex from a pendant.
