    Chimney pot replacement

Postby derby ram » Wed Nov 05, 2008 1:46 pm

Can anyone give me an idea what it costs to have my chimney pot re seated in its original position. It had come lose and was taken down earlier in the year for safety. I need to have it put back up but am being quoted silly prices. Surely someone with a head for heigts and correct ladders would do this in a short time. Prices between £125 £200 are coming in.

the price is about right you have to consider any breakage of tiles and it is a hazardous job, health and safety would make you put up scaffold for that type of job.
