Chrome bottle trap to 32mm McAlpine fitting

Post by Pierro » Wed Jan 23, 2008 5:14 pm

I've purchased a minimalist bottle trap. The 32mm extension tube has a very small OD. I'm having problems sealing it to the compression coupling in the wall. Any suggestions

Use a McAlpine universal coupling available from any good plumbers merchants.

I am using a McAlpine Coupling. These fittings suit 32mm id with a 36mm od.My extension tube only has an outside diameter of 32.5 mm. the McAlpine rubber washer does't close around the tube enough
