I am a total novice (but I am enjoying my learning process). In our rented house we have a golden oak kitchen. It is in good order but the upper edges of the routed doors (cathedral design) are heavily stained How do I go about cleaning them up. Ordinary cleaners such as Flash have little or no effect

Try fine wire wool and white spirit do a test piece first useing a circular motion and be gentle.
