cleaning dried plaster spills off floorboards

Wondering if anyone has any top tips for cleaning dried plaster spills off floorboards? I've started by using a wirebrush and hoovering up the dust but wondering if there's a quicker & easier way of doing it?

i would say use a scraper then hover as a wire brush just puts it back to dust,then use a damp cloth to wipe the area.
