Hope you can help. We have a cold downstairs rear extension (not cavity wall, and founded onto concrete slab) which we want to lay slate tiles on to, but know that slate / ceramic / tiles are cold underfoot. Do you know the thinnest types of underfloor insulation or underfloor heating we could get away with, becuse we also have a very low ceiling height so cant raising the floor much.
