My Combi Boiler (EuroCombi Ariston) keeps turning the rads on even thou it is only set to water. I did have the water set to continuas but have now changed it to normal. I had it on continuos cause it seemed to warm the water quicker. It has happened twice now and would like to know a) is this a issue or b) something I have been doing wrong?

Would appricate some guidence and I know diddle squat about boilers!

Your diverter valve is most likely defective.

If you don't require heating, you can temporarily overcome this fault by turning off the heating flow and return isolation valves underneath the boiler. Just remember that you have done this before attempting to use the heating again.

The problem you have wont lead to futher damage, but it is wasting fuel and energy and will reduce your hot water performance.

Thanxs plastic_man77. In the end I turned all the radiators off and this seems to of solved the problem, for now. Need to get someone out to check it out now!
