I have a wickes 2000 combination boiler and the problem I have is when the heating is off and I ask for hot water I find that instead of the hot water only going to the tap it travels around the radiators making the hot water luke warm. If I valve of the central flow or return valve the hot water is fine. Is this a problem with the diverting valve.....

Yes it'll be the diverter at fault.
