Combi boiler problems!

by steve25037 » Mon Dec 08, 2008 9:42 pm

Help! I was hopeful someone might be able to give me some advice. I moved into my house in Feb and I've inherited a combi boiler (Ravenheat). I've only noticed recenltly as we've not had the need to use our heating but we're suffering from a couple of issues!

The problem is if we turn the heating on it seems to create a scenario where by we don't have hot water for our shower and sometimes our bath and visa versa.

How can I get round this? Do I need to wait until the radiators are hot before trying for a shower?

Can anyone help?

No, with combi's priority is given the the HW, if you don't get hot water when the CH is on - there may be problem with the diverter.
