Combination (3 way) Ladders with treads steps

    Postby Jeff656 » Wed Jun 18, 2008 2:18 pm

What has happened to combination ladders with tread steps? (as opposed to rungs). I want to buy a domestic one having an extension of 8-10 feet.

In order to carry heavy objects, I wanted a larger step to go easy on my feet. I cannot find one anywhere? Beldray ladders no longer exist & the Titan TA3W have recently changed to rungs (eventhough dealers still advertise with the previous tread step photos (innocently) but when they order one it is the rung version).

Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced (<£50) 3 way ladder with tread steps? Even 2nd hand, but there is nothing on ebay.

    Hopeful of your suggestions

    Thanks

If the Titan model you're after has only changed relatively recently, it might be worth looking up some online dealers, & getting in contact, to find out whether they still have any of the older models in stock?
