This test is VERY IMPORTANT to me. and it will be an eye opener to you all on how much different boilers use to heat the same qty water, likewise rads.
Can forum readers assist in a simple 3 minute test.
when tap not been used for some time, and no one elsewhere also running water now or recently.
take gas reading with ALL DECIMAL VALUES.
fill up a 2litre container, keep tap running, pour out v quickly, refill pour out etc 5 times
each fill to take about 15 secs.
(10 litres expended)
turn off tap
take meter reading.
let me know readings
make and model of boiler.
is it set for heat water on demand (eco on) or not ?
so far a friend has tested and I am getting through 20 times the gas his boiler gets through to heat the same qty of water.
This might explain why my gas bill is 2 x everyone else I know. and my system is all brand new.
So I desperately need your help please, compare boilers.
