Concealed Hinge

by lorraine7045 » Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:31 am

Hi,

I have cut down a kitchen cabinet door and need to make a hole to insert a concealed hinge.

I don't know how to do this. Do i need to use a drill with a forstner bit or a router?

The door is made of 18mm MDF.

Hi
You can make a hole, with either a 26mm or 35mm hinge cutter http://www.rapidtoolsdirect.co.uk/category/router-cutters-worktop, it can be used in a drill, but make sure you don't go too deep.
