concrete flooring

i have recently moved house, and i am thinking of replacing the old wooden joists and floorboards with a new concrete floor.does anybody know if this can be done, and if so how much this will cost, ( the size of the room is 6m x 4m)

Cost cant be done on line as there are too many variables but yes, 99% of the time it can be done. It will involve removing the existing and wither building up the ground level underneath or reducing it to get the required depth for a sub base, insulation, damp membrane and concrete. See our project on ground floor slabs to get some idea of the construction involved then speak to three or 4 builders for quotes.
