concrete slab for summerhouse
Hi there, my mate wants me to lay a concrete slab for summerhouse, its going to be 4 metres x 4 metres sq, what should be the depth of the hardcore and the depth of the concrete, how much material will i need thankyou hope you can help me
Whats the ground like? if ground is bad dig off till you reach clay, build back up with hardcore cap off with 100mm of type 1 MOT, then a 150mm conc slab, if ground is good no need for hardcore.
MOT at 100mm = 3.84 ton conc at 150mm = 2.4 cubic metres Hardcore if needed depends on how much you have to dig out
Hi stokedan1 sorry for the delay in my reply thanks for the advise should be sound now cheers
