Condensation on Floor in Newly Convereted Loft - How to Prevent This

by stu1234 » Mon Jul 28, 2014 5:50 pm

Hi,Just though i`d post on here for any advice help that anyone could give me please.
In Feb 2014 we had a loft conversion done in our bungalow.
All was completed and seemed fine till a carpet fitter came back to re lay lino up there.
We notice condensation marks on the chip board flooring sheets, directly above where water pipes run in the loft.
My question is would climaflex pipe insulation be sufficient to stop this problem ?
Many Thanks .

Hi,thanks for your reply. Will try pipe insulation. Will also try to vent with an air brick, and keep small vent in window open.
