    Conservatory Guttering Clips

    Postby tonywilson » Sat Feb 13, 2010 4:05 pm

    Hi,
The "slot in and twist" guttering clips I have on my conservatory are part of the Wendland Conservatory roof system. These clips hook up into the front inside of the gutter and then you push the gutter up into the rear of the clip until it clicks into place. If you look at the picture of the guttering on the Wendland website you can just make out the design of the clip. When I rang Wendland about the broken clip problems I was having they told me to email Ultraframe Conservatories with your requirement, i.e. number of clips required + postal address, and they will send them to you free of charge. These are specialised clips and as far as im aware they will not fit any other manufacturers guttering.
I received my clips within a few days, enough to do all the guttering. The advice they gave me was to use one clip every 1/2 metre (minimum).

    gutter brackets...

    Postby Boblyn » Mon Feb 15, 2010 12:56 pm

i have had several of my gutter brackets break on me also due to the recent cold snap ref: RS32790 i was able to source them through a local company, Truly (link below for contact details) and seen as i am not really a keen DIYer they came out and fitted them for me too, i was then able to claim the cost on the house insurance.

    Google "trulyconservatoryrepairs.com" or call 0845 8399069

I got my Wendland RS32790 brackets from ebay and they work a treat on my conservatory. Couldn't find them at first because I thought they were called gutter clips. Be sure to get the right ones, there seems to be different brackets with the same RS32790 code but only one fits the Wendand RS32790 guttering system. Just search Wendland RS32790 on eBay.

Help required from all conservatory owners who have suffered RS32790 gutter bracket failures.

I am in a dispute with my conservatory installer who is reluctant to acknowledge that there is any history of service failures of this product. I have experienced a number of broken brackets, usually following heavy rain. It would greatly help my case if any forum members who have experienced similar failures would post details of the circumstances.

    Many Thanks
    debe
