I'd, like to warn people who are thinking about having a conservatory that they should check small print in contracts from conservatory companies. Our conservatory was nearly built when we had a visit from the local planning department,
saying we needed Planning Permission!! We then rang the manager of the Con company (nice description) and he told us it was up to us to apply for planning and to check our contract out. .
We had to apply for planning A.S.A.P and we had 8 weeks of worry until we received permission and thought we might have to pull it down!!
anyway just a word of warning!!
The company we used to do our drawings were very helpful and only charged us £250 to produce the plans:

    Google - "conservatoryplansonline.com"

    Thanks
    Clair
