Trustmark and the NHIC
conservatory subsidence query
My home insurance has told me after investigations that there is subsidence in my conservatory due to tree roots but that as my foundations are not deep enough all they will cover is the removal of the tree and realignment of the dropped door. If I get this done privately and not pursue the claim (excess not paid yet) will this still register as a claim and affect future premiums with this or other insurance companies? Also is it correct that they are not obliged to correct the foundation fault? Thanks
