Having been called upon to help replace someones cooker hood ducting I have the following observations and or questions for the forum.
The cooker extractor hood outlet duct dia of all current Screwfix cooker hoods is 120mm dia, however it would appear that all standard ducting sizes are 100, 125, 150 etc. How do you securely/correctly connect one to the other? Existing ducting dia in the case I am dealing with is 100mm however the outlet on the extractor fan is 120mm. It was previously botched with some 100mm flexi ducting.
