    Cooker Hob

I have bought a new electric cooker hob, Indeset @ 6200W. Relacing a previous gas hob, gas has been terminated & made good.

My question is should the hob be connected directly to the main cooked terminal block situated behind the oven or to the socket which is also benind the oven via a 13a plug (as the oven is)?

    Thanks

You say 6200W that's 27A and that will need connecting directly to the main cooked terminal block.
    And testing of course.

you also need to make sure the existing cable will take it given that it was probably installed with only the oven in mind
