cooker hood extractor fan
Our cooker hood extractor fan is under 2 years old, fitted with a new Howdens kitchen. The fan has 3 seperate buttons to increase the speed of the fan. The fan works, but only at a very slow speed,(which is next to useless), which ever button is pressed. With each button the motor sounds like it is working harder (marginally), but there is no increase in speed. Does this mean a new motor (at £140!!) or is there a part that can be replaced to cure this problem?
Re: cooker hood extractor fan
Under EU law, goods have to be of satisfactory quality and should last a minimum of six years.
The retailer/person/company you bought it from must either replace or repair it. It is not the manufacturers responsibility to repair or replace.
