Can I house a cooker socket for an induction hob and oven,in a base unit or does it have to be on the wall nearby.

regs only say 'readily accessable' BUT would you want to go into the base unit under a chip pan fire to isolate hob? which is why the cooker panel should not be placed behind the cooker/hob
