Sticking Cork to MDF and What Suitable Adhesive to use

I am building a model railway in the loft. Before I lay the track I am intending to fix cork sheeting, (not tiles), to the baseboard, (MDF, I think). Can anyone suggest a suitable adhesive for this job? Would PVA do the trick?
