Correct Shower to Replace Titan Jade 3 Running 1 bar

by James1088 » Wed Mar 07, 2018 6:59 pm

Hi all

I am looking to replace an existing shower.
Current electric shower is Titan jade 3, 9.5kw, 8 liters at 1 bar.

from what I worked out, I should have a shower at 0.2 bar pressure as I have a gravity fed system, but my current is 5 times more at 1 bar.

So not only am I confused about the pressure rating, I am finding it very difficult to find a replacement shower. Most are rated minimum 0.7 bar which I cant use, can I?

My bathroom will be fully refitted soon and want to get parts beforehand.

So what shower can I have? I know i can have 9.5kw, just the pressure thing I am having a problem with.

Thanks in advance
