couple of querys re next doors new oil tank

by ZEbbEDY » Mon Jun 21, 2010 12:38 pm

Next door have put a new huge bonded oil tank in and they have put it right up against my boundary fence (inches away) that used to be a communal passageway between us, is this up to the rules and regs? seems to be awfully close to the fence and also the communal area is now gone and its just been claimed by them and they have put up a big 7 foot fence/gate entranceway

does the oil tank need to be a set distance away from my boundary or does t not matter, never mind the claiming of the communal area

thanks for any advice

I don't know about the lagality of positioning the tank there, however you're title deed should show who own the land or if it is shared.

Assuming it's legally shared ground then they can't put the tank there without you're permission. (Or at least you have as much right to remove it as they have to put it there)
