Cutting dado rails down to fit in new fireplace

by carla raine » Sun Apr 10, 2016 7:58 am

Hi guys looking for bit of advice, I've got dado rails already up in my living room but now need
To saw a couple of inches off to fit new fireplace in, can this be done while its attached to the wall ?
I don't really want to have to rip it off as it was put up with no nails and don't want wall paper being ripped off
Any advice would be appreciated x

Yes, use a small saw with fine teeth, and you can saw it in place
