DAMPPROOFING SOUNDPROOFING PLEASE HELP

by steev93 » Tue May 06, 2008 12:50 am

Hi
me and a couple of friends have bought a wooden 16x9f shed which we want to convert into a music practice room and recording studio, in it we will be permanently storing guitar amps, drums , cymbals and some recording equipment.
We need it to be damp proof enough to keep electrical equipment in there permanently without getting damaged at all.
We need soundproofing but it’s not too necessary to soundproof 100% just the majority of the sound.

I’m aware that there may be advice somewhere on this site but i'm looking for pretty specific instructions.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks
Steve
