DECKING.....DPC???

by kgr32 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 4:04 pm

Hey,

I know that when laying a patio/drive etc it has to be the required 2 courses below the DPC but if i was to be putting a deck in, whats the situation there? I plan to be bolting to the wall and the beam i will be bolting on will be below the DPC but not 2 courses, is this ok as ground level is still lower than 2 courses or will i need to dig out and lower the entire deck?

Thanks

Kev
