I am planning to build a lean-to on my gable end using breeze block and with a slate roof.
I need to dig out to lay a concrete base. Can anyone give me an idea of how deep I need to dig out and what thickness the concrete base needs to be?
I will be hiring a mini digger and driver to excavate the ground so I need to be able to tell them how deep to go. Any help appreciated.
