Difficult Drains!

Post by Langton » Mon Feb 11, 2008 5:00 pm

Hi!

I'm currently installing a french drainage system, that will flow ditrectly to a stream. The trouble is, is that we have to go accross an area that a farmer uses regularly, sometimes carrying lots of weight.

What can we do to prevent our drain from collapsing?

Many thanks :)

Hope this helps,

Plenty of shingle on top of the pipe and lay paving slabs on top of that, this will protect the pipe, then back fill ground backfill to the top
