difficult hot tap when turning on or off

by mandc » Thu May 26, 2011 2:54 pm

During the past 5 months we have replaced our downstairs sink basin taps 3 times. The problem is that after fitting the new taps over a period of time (approximately 2 weeks) the hot tap is increasingly hard to turn on and off. We have a worcester Combi boiler which is also downstairs. No problems with any other taps in the house. Could this be something to do with pressure. The new taps look like the old taps we originally took off. Do I need to call a plumber, now getting very frustrated.

mandc,
Try fitting a different make of tap.
