dimmer switch

i have just put up a 4 light square dimmer spotlight 4x50w GU10 halogen bulbs 240 low voltage. can i u use any dimmer switch.if not what do you reccomend. thank's!

Hi if as you say they are LV lamps then the transformer will be rated @ around 200va(watts) so you need a dimmer rated for more than that ie 250W and it must be suitable type for LV use as although trans former is mains powered they are not suitable for normal dimmer switches, regards SPARX

thank's sparx, but the LV i have got don't need a transformer.they are wired into exsisting circuit.
