Discoloured UPVC windows

Post by ironmonger » Mon Apr 13, 2009 11:13 pm

Any ideas for rewhitening discoloured UPVC windows- were white but have turned pink due to fault in plastic. I know there are commercial solutions to this but are there any DIY ones?

ironmonger, I had this exact problem with mine (about to be replaced now) and found that paint called weathershield by dulux.

Google "dulux.co.uk/products/info/weathershield_exterior_satin.jsp"

I used it but I think that it only works so well on the plastic which is already going offcoloured. I don't know why that is

Hope this helps!
