Distance between fence posts

Hi

For a 900mm high pvc-coated mesh fence, about how far apart should the fence posts be? The fence is only to keep next door's yapper out, not to grow things up, I'll be screening it with shrubs.

I'd say no more than 2m - perhaps less depends on the mesh. Otherwise when the mesh stretches (which it will) it will just flap about.
