Door Knob Removal

I cannot remove old door knobs on interior doors to replace. There are no screws. There is a small round hole underneath door knob on stem but if I put a tool in the hole to press to be able to release the door knob this does not work. Is there a special tool for these particular door knobs? can anyone help please.

It may be an Allen key is required to loosen the grub screw.
