Double Glazing Prices
I'm getting a new conservatory which is all sorted now hopefully, but struggling to get some decent prices for double glazing. I have 4 windows all 600 x 1200mm, but I'm being quoted anything from £3000 to £7000!?!
Wanted to get double glazing for my house too. Factory direct supply only £1109 for 7 windows. So ok i get Anglian to come in and see what they can quote with installation......£4000  Now i see why agent was driving nice sports car.
dglazing
you can find anyone to fit upvc but they need to be FENSA registered, when you sell your house you have to provide a certificate to show they where passed by FENSA,The problem is fensa only approves the windows for fitting NOT the installation.
There is no goverment body to enforce quality control on installation,But VEKA approved companies trains installers how to fit windows, doors, conservatories properly and inspects regularly to make sure standards are set. So you will get all sorts of prices for installation, you get what you pay for so go for recommended companies everytime.
