    Double glazing / safety glass

    Postby Caroljayne » Tue Jun 01, 2010 9:21 pm

    Hi,

Probably a daft question (I don't have a man to ask! lol) I've been told I need safety glass (for building regs) in a new wooden garage door, the glazed bit starts around 122 cm from the floor and the doors are 300cm high. What thickness of glass would be needed (I would also like it to be double glazed, not sure if this makes a difference on the glass thicknesses or not).

I'm getting conflicting advice at the moment so any help would be great.

    Thank you
    Carol
