Drilling in to ceilings

Post by tcurtis69 » Tue Jul 03, 2007 4:16 pm

How do I drill into a ceiling? I want to separate two halves of a room and have the idea to screw a piece of wood into the ceiling to attach a curtain rail to.

if the room you are planning on doing it in is below the attic then u should go into the attic and see where the ceiling joists are and screw to them, but if they run in the opposite direction the you will have to put noggins between the ceiling joists.
