drilling in to metal lintals(?)

Hi Need to know tpye of drill bit and what speed to drill in to metal lintal (not sure if spelt that right). It's just to get a screw fixing for vertical blinds. Do you have to drill metal slower?

I also have to do this and was wondering which screws to use ?
