Dripping Aqualisa shower

My 6 month old Aqualisa Quartz digital shower drips for at least 5 mins after it is switched off. As a consequence when it is switched on the next time it pulls air not water. Until recently switching it off then on again has solved the problem but now I just get air and no water. Can anyone give me any advice on cause and solution. Thanks
