DRIPPING KITCHEN TAP

hi. we have a kitchen mixer tap that keeps dripping. i have taken off valve from the hot tap and there is a constant drickle of water leaking through remainder of tap even when the water is turned off at the mains.
can anyone help, please.

you have to turn your hot supply off separately if you have a gravity fed system.

Even though you have turned the water off at the mains there will be residual water pressure in the pipework in the house which will run out if you remove a tap body. This is normal and is not the cause of your leaking tap.

Have you changed any washers? It could be as simple as it not being tight enough. I got a call-out for a similar problem, and that's all it was. I had to use a 22mm compression spanner to tighten it because all others were too fat to fit.
