Dry concrete mix for building a low retaining wall

by andrew77 » Wed Mar 17, 2010 5:38 pm

I am planning on building a low retaining wall using upright railway sleepers. I was going to use a dry mix like fence posts as the maximum height of the wall will be about 50cm and I was going to have the posts roughly 50% exposed above ground.

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the concrete mix make up. e.g, amount of cement to aggregrate / sand

Many thanks
