Dusty new Concrete Garage Floor - What to use to Seal it?

by GARZX9R » Thu Jun 11, 2015 8:13 am

Hi, I've just laid a new concrete floor in our garage, when the guy came and poured the first bit it was really stiff and could hardly drag it to back of garage (6.5m) to make a start, so asked him to add a bit water to soften it, when it came out it was really thin,
So, got it in, levelled it fine and deliberately did not over work it so not to bring to much water to the top, all went well and looks nice and flat but it keeps giving off lots of dust, it is really annoying as we can not do anything in there without getting covered in the stuff, it went in at 6" deep, 6.5m x 3.2m, the rear half is getting carpeted, but what can I treat/ paint etc it with to solve the dust problem, thanks in advance

mix a pva and water solution on the floor, then lay a self level compound over the entire floor
