Electric cooker
Hi, at the moment I am teaching myself all about kitchen appliances and how to replace different parts when they are faulty. The other day I decided id remove the back of the electric cooker to familiarise myself with wiring for the grill element etc. I noticed that there is foam inside covered with silver foil. What is this for? Heat resistent? It was also slightly singed? Is that something to worry about?
Re: Electric cooker
It no need to worry about this silver foil. It is there because silver is a very good conductor of heat and it help to manage the inside temperature.
