Electric heating - which one?

by baistow » Thu Oct 09, 2008 10:39 am

We have just purchased a mid terrace 3 bedroom house, cant do oil CH as no where to put the oil tank (no garden), no gas available. It currently has electric but it is more than 25years old and very inneficient. I hate storage heaters, had them before and your always freezing. Any suggestions as to what we can do?

As I have mentioned elsewhere, electric radiant heating is what you need.
This form of heating has no waste, you only pay for what you use.
Stay away from any form of heating where you need to waste money heating oil filled radiators for example, or block storage etc.
Keep in mind that decent insulation of all forms will greatly reduce your heating bills.
